What program do you study at SPbPU?

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency Preparedness and Response at SPbPU, with a focus on nuclear and radiological emergencies. This program has been a transformative journey for me, as it aligns with my commitment to public safety and environmental protection. The specialized nature of my studies allows me to delve deeply into the complexities of nuclear and radiological incident management, from the intricacies of risk assessment to the nuances of disaster response.

Why did you choose the Polytechnic University?

I began my academic pursuits at the Polytechnic University on a self-funded basis, driven by my passion for emergency preparedness and response. The university’s unique offer of a master’s level program in this specialized field, which I understand to be unparalleled globally, was the decisive factor in my decision to enroll.

My dedication and commitment to my studies were rewarded when I was honored to receive the Marie Sklodowska Curie scholarship. This prestigious scholarship recognizes not only academic excellence but also the relevance of one’s studies to the critical issues facing our society today. Choosing the Polytechnic University was one of the best decisions I’ve made, as it has provided me with remarkable opportunities to grow academically and professionally. The support I have received through the Marie Sklodowska Curie scholarship has only deepened my appreciation for the field and my resolve to excel within it.
